We are very dedicated breeders. Our dogs, puppies, and our breeding program, are our LIFE, our LOVE, and our family's livelihood. Being full time professional breeders is not an easy life, or an easy career. It is a true labor of love, full of 15 hours work days, sleepless nights helping mothers deliver their puppies into the world; a life full of purpose. We always put the care and devotion of our dogs and puppies above our own wants, desires, and needs, above our non existent social life, and many times above a family event (someone will usually need to stay home with the dogs and puppies even at the time of a family funeral or a family wedding).

We have received an ethical breeder award, as well as other awards, and are devoted breeders of the AKC. Our client reference letters and emails speak for themselves. Many of our clients, have purchased 2, 3, and 4 labs or goldens from Golden Lightning (it is hard to only have one). Some breeders have purchased 6, 7, even 8 breeding puppies from us over time, to add to their breeding program, because our genetics are that good.

Most clients say, they have had labs before, many of their friends have labs, and they have never experienced a lab with the qualities, tenderness, love, and human-like traits that

our labs and goldens have.

Many say they would never purchase a lab or golden from any other breeder.

We have been professionally breeding puppies for a very long time now. We are not backyard breeders, we are not a puppy mill. We have always been serious professional full time breeders, with a very soundly back grounded, and well defined breeding program. We breed excellent sound genetic bloodlines, and give stellar care to all of our dogs and puppies every day.

We lavish our puppies with tenderness and cuddles. They are raised in a home environment, used to household noises, smells, and music. We spend lots of time with them. We use an EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION PROGRAM on our puppies their first several weeks of life. We over lap the EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION PROGRAM with our SPECIAL SOCIALIZATION PUPPY PROGRAM that was developed by us. The "proof is in the puppy",

that Golden Lightning Labs and Golden's are superior and definitely have a head start in life when they leave us here from Golden Lightning.

Each area that the Mom and her pups stay in, is cleaned and disinfected twice daily with all natural (no chemicals are used in our puppy areas) disinfectant, antiviral, antibacterial cleaner. They have fresh blankets daily for cuddling up on at night with their Mom. They are newspaper potty trained as soon as solid kibble is introduced. Paper potty training teaches pups to "want" to stay clean, and will help immensely with the speed at which they housebreak (outdoor potty train). Daily playtime is incorporated into their routine as soon as they can start running around. They enjoy toys, running around, and interaction with puppies and people daily. They are very attuned to humans and we have their trust, security and love bonds in place by the time they are ready to go to their new homes. They are ready to face the world, join their new families, and grow up to be the most wonderful loving, emotionally and psychologically secure dogs you could ever imagine.

Our breeding males and females that are not having pups at the time, spend their days at our ranch with wide open spaces to run every day, and they swim in the summer. Our dogs are happy, healthy dogs. We use all natural disinfectant, antiviral, antibacterial cleaners for daily cleaning of our dog sleeping areas, (no chemicals are used in our dog areas). We have climate controlled housing with heat in the winter months and cooling in the summer. They each take turns playing the roll of the "house dog" and love to lay on the couch and watch TV when it is their turn...LOL

We take a holistic natural approach to raising all of our dogs and puppies, every day in their daily life. We believe this is part of the reason (their good genetics is the other part) as to why our dogs and puppies are so healthy.

Any honest breeder will tell you that ....If you breed long enough, all breeders will have genetic "flukes of nature" happen from time to time, no matter how good your genetics are. We have been very, very fortunate in this department. Our percentages of serious defects in the puppies we have produced over all of our years of breeding, have been very, very low, and almost non existent. In all of our years of breeding and producing puppies we have had very, very few issues ever arise, and there were questionably environmental issues involved, that arose after months of the puppy being away from Golden Lightning, more than likely due to poor nutrition, injury etc).

Make your choice based on your gut instinct of that breeders breeding program, and what you see and read on their site. Read the letters written by their past puppy buyers and see what they have to say about their dogs, and view photos sent in by the past clients. That is the true measure of a breeder, and the outcome of their puppies.

We are breeders that always strive to improve, and always strive to do better. We are stewards of our dogs and puppies, and always only want the best for them. We feel we have an excellent breeding track record in producing healthy puppies and happy clients.

Please beware: It is very disheartening when jealous and obviously hateful breeders have professional envy to the extent that they act out on their negative emotions. Some are so dishonest they go on internet review or complaint sites, and post untrue things on those sites and sometimes they post untrue things on their own site, about other breeders. They post bogus evaluations about good dedicated breeders, with intent to smear a good breeders reputation. If they would only work harder, be more dedicated to their dogs, puppies, and breeding program, they too could find the success they desire. Please beware that many times it is a competitive breeder, not anyone who has ever been to the breeders place, or ever purchased a dog from the breeder

that they are trying to discredit. If you hit a breeder's site and they seem to have the need to discredit other breeders (in hopes to build themselves up as breeders)....RUN!!

Our dogs, and the puppies we produce, we believe have truly been God-sends, to help us on our life mission as professional dog breeders. Our dogs and puppies are blessings with four paws!

Hi guys,

Remember me, Raven? AKA Zander, one of Whitey and Aspen's puppies.
My first 9 months of life has been truly awesome! It's great to be alive and living in NJ with my adopted parents. My toy chest is confirmation of my happiness overflowing with stuffed animals and the baby blanket I came to New Jersey with. I play with each and every one of them and surprisingly enough haven't destroyed one toy yet or chewed on anything I am not supposed to. Not bad for a lab going through his teething stage.

I am experiencing the world and am having a blast. I have been to the dog beach, to the marina, boating, fishing, rides to Dunkin Doughnuts, and on long walks in the woods. My parents being previous owners of Labs can't get over how fast I am (faster then a speeding bullet they always say) or how high I leap maneuvering over obstacles that get in my way with the grace and coordination of a reindeer.

My parents say I am so amazing. They always tell me how special I am and how lucky they are to get such a beautiful puppy of my caliber. They are happy that they took the time to do the extensive research and wait to get a high quality pet from a Best In Class Breeder!

Not to brag or anything, but not only are my parents impressed with me but so is everyone I meet, including my veterinarian who is captivated by my looks, disposition and health.
