We purchased Mack (photo attached) from Golden Lightening Labs (he is now 2.5 years old) and it was an experience I speak to many times. Not to perspective owners (this is my first time), but to people I met that asks me about Mack. I found Golden Lightening Labs on the World Wide Web its amazing how small the Internet has made the world seem. I was searching for a family owned breeder who breeds in a family environment and puppies that are raised as if they would remain with them forever not to be sold to other lucky families. Golden Lightening Labs fit that requirement. I came across many breeders that had random puppy photos depicting the same photo for numerous different puppies (red flag.). As you know, Golden Lightening Labs does not do that; they go one step further and give each puppy a name they begin immediately bonding with the puppy and the puppy with them.

I have to admit, we were a bit worried that the puppy we viewed on their website and the puppy we might pick up at the airport, could possibly be different. Unfortunately, there are people in the world that do take advantage of others trustworthiness. I can honestly say Golden Lightening Labs is not among those dishonest people. Mack (we kept the name they gave him at birth) was put on a plane in North Dakota around 10:00 am (we spoke to Dwile once Mack was on his way. Dwile gave us additional instructions should Mack have an upset stomach once he arrived). Mack had 3 layovers before arriving to his new home in Boca Raton, FL. We picked him up at 1:00am and I was so proud of him - even in his crate. All my fears where gone, Mack was the dog we had requested. Even better, he was not stressed, his crate was clean (no messes) and he emerged from the kennel immediately bonding with us. I put a leash on him (which he walked on famously) and took him to a grassy area where he relieved himself. He was 3 months old when he came to us. At that age they have already begun forming what they have been taught or have seen in their environment. He cried for about 30 minutes in his crate the first night (of course, he was by himself for the very first time), did not even whimper the second night. He has NEVER messed in the house, nor has he ever chewed anything. At 3 months old, he had been taught basic commands and was very willing to please.

To this day we take Mack everywhere with us. He is one of the best-behaved Labs I have ever met; we have previously owned Labs and know their profile. We take Mack to restaurants that have outdoor seating and without fail people always stop and praise how well behaved he is; as well as how beautiful he is. We have done this since he was 3 months old; and the statements have not changed. He goes with us on our airboat, saltwater and freshwater fishing, camping and on all vacations. If we had the property for two labs to run and play, I would definitely go back to Golden Lightening Labs to purchase the second lab.

I have kept in contact with Rosi to keep her current on how Mack has been doing. We (meaning Mack and me) have gone to training classes together for basic obedience as well as Level 2 obedience. He is always used as the example in class. We are currently in an Inducive Retrieving class; he loves to think. My goal is to have him acquire his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certificate and his Therapy Dog Certificate. I know the individuals who are at the Elderly Care facilities will love to visit with him and him with them.

Marcey Crank, and their Golden Lightning Lab Bentley, (the love of their lives). Casey had just finished another Pro Football Season, and they were heading back to their home state of Wyoming for the holidays with their family.

Casey signed some autographs for us, and promised to send signed photos, it was a very fun meeting. Bentley had grown into a beautiful and wonderful lab, we were so happy to hug him once again!

Dear Rosi and Dwile,

We were so excited to have the opportunity to share how wonderful its been to have Kahlua (aka Kal) and Clementine (aka Clem) in our lives, since were constantly telling our families, friends, and people we meet at our dog park just what a joy our two babies have been and continue to be. Well never forget the day we picked them up from the airport, when we couldnt stop telling each other how small and cute they were all the way home and into the night as they fell asleep on top of each other on our couch. As you can see from some of the more recent photos, theyre not quite so small anymore, but our love for Kal and Clem has grown right along with them.

We are both busy plastic surgeons, with schedules that often have us leaving earlier in the morning or getting home later at night then we wish, but Kal and Clem are always so excited to see us whenever we get home or however early we wake them up, always running to greet us at the door when we come home or giving us good morning kisses when our alarm clocks go off. Were also both triathletes, and we feel so lucky that weve gotten such active and athletic new family members to have as training partners. Ziv takes then to swim in the San Francisco Bay several times a week and theyve really become almost tireless swimmers- were so proud of them!

We really could not have asked for a better pair of pups (yes we still call them that!). They just have the most loving personalities and gentle dispositions and you can tell they came from the right breeders who raised them in a friendly and socialized environment. They have been wonderfully sweet to our 5- and 2-year old neighbors since the first night they came home and love to give kisses to all of the children they meet in the park. Kal and Clem also just love each other so much- theyre really inseparable, and are actually sleeping on top of each other as were writing this letter.

We would recommend a Golden Lightning Lab to anyone who wants a wonderful new family member who will bring love and happiness into their home.

Our days are now filled with more joy than we ever thought possible and we are so grateful to you and Kal and Clemmies original moms and dads for giving us such perfect gifts.

Rosi and Dwile,

We just wanted send you some updated pictures of DC and let you know how he is doing.

DC is by far the most loving dog we have ever known. We cant imagine our lives without him, and didnt really realize when we bought him how much we would love him. Mike and I build custom homes, so DC often gets to be our sidekick whenever we go out to the job site. That is where most of these pictures are taken. He knows right away when we pull up to a site that he gets to run around and make friends with all the workers.

He has the best personality we have ever seen in a dogeverything you can see in his eyes! He loves to snuggle in the morning when we let him out of his crate In the mornings when we get down on our knees to pet him, he gives us hugs (literally) he puts his hands up on our shoulders and leans in for a kiss. He also will let Mike pick him up and lay him down backwards like a baby on the bed, and doesnt move. His trust in us is incredible. He will sleep in my arms like a baby too when we are watching tv on the couch. (He does live the life of luxury.)

His favorite treat is Mother Hubbard P-Nuttiers his will do his best trick for these (Play Dead), and he does such a great job Mike will whistle the wild wild west shoot out and start out back to back with DC, he walks away turns and shoots himDC will twirl and then fall on his back. He will also run suicide laps in our house if he isnt done playing yet but we are. (I will have to send a video clip of this laterits the funniest thing you have ever seenhe just plays for hours by himselfand he is completely happy!) Although he is quite destructive with his toyswe only have a few toys we can buy that will last longer than a few days. (At least he knows what is his and what is ours). And its pretty obvious he likes to get dirty. (as you can see in the pictures)if there is mud or water, he will find it. He will also fetch anything we throw him. (in one of the pictures we threw a huge branch, and sure enough he dragged it back to us.)

He is a GREAT swimmer, and prefers the mountain streams to just lakes. He is soooo stronghis shoulders and hind legs bulge with muscle.

Dwile and Rosi-

We just wanted to let you know how Bentley was doing. Since you sent us Bentley "Tate" in Fort Lauderdale, he has become the center of our family and the love of our lives. Just a couple days after we got him, Bentley helped Casey and I hand out Turkeys to the needy at an event for the Miami Dolphins. (Casey plays for the Dolphins...I don't know if we ever told you that.) A reporter there liked him so much that he included a bit about him in his piece about the event, "The Bramlets brought their new polar lab puppy, Bentley, to help at the event." He was into everything, being a very good "helper" and then he promptly fell asleep on the floor in the middle of all the action.

After the season, the three of us enjoyed a cross country road trip back home to Wyoming for a couple months with our families. We go back to Florida in a couple weeks. It has been so great having Bentley with us this whole time and introducing him to everything from the Beach to piles of snow in Wyoming! Bentley literally goes with us everywhere and loves meeting new people and dogs.

Everyone who meets Bentley loves him. Both of our parents, who have had their own experiences with labs, cannot believe that our puppy is so well-behaved and has such a great personality.

Thank you so much for giving us our first "child". And that is truly what he is to us...we couldn't love him more!

I am sending you (in a separate email) a Kodak Photo share of our times withBentley...there are only a few pictures, but I should tell you that we've taken hundreds!

The first beach pictures were taken at Fort Lauderdale Beach, but the last beach picture was taken at Key Biscayne, the northernmost Florida Key. The snow pictures were taken in Star Valley, Wyoming. It is about an hour south of Jackson Hole. The picture of him watching TV, he is actually watching the Dog Whisperer. Its not a great picture because I just caught it on my phone, but it is hilarious. If you would like to know how old he is in any of the pictures,I'd be happy to tell you, although I'm sure you can make a pretty good guess!

Hi Dwile and Rosi,

I just wanted to send you a couple pictures of Timber who is now 6
months old. We got her from you in September of 2007. She is the
daughter of Diamond Rio and Destiny.

She is absolutely amazing. Our lives have changed so much since we got her from you. She brings so much joy and laughter to our everyday lives. She loves to wake up in the morning and get a rub down from Mom, while at night she attacks dad playfully. When she gets excited she tucks her tail and runs like a race dog. She is on a mission and she sometimes doesn't even know where she is going. She loves to play out in the yard with her neighbor dog friend. They see each other through the fences and run up and down until they are too tired to run anymore. When dad gets home she plays fetch in the yard and goes on several walks a day, which she also loves.

She is such a blessing. It is unbelievable how good of a dog she is. You guys were wonderful at adapting her so when she came into our home she would feel at ease. We never had a problem with her missing her mommy and the second she scooted in the door at 2 months it was like she had been here all along.

You guys do a magnificent job and we can't wait to get another Lab puppy from you again!

I just wanted to say hello and let you all know how
Khaki (BJ) is doing these days. We brought him home last March, and life just hasn't been the same since. He is just the most loving dog and he loves to play with our dachshund Bandit.

He loves to get his belly rubbed first thing in the morning, and likes to give "kisses"when asked.

He absolutely adores playing out in the snow and
will race around the yard at top speed, just for fun.
He has brought so much joy into our lives, we can't thank you
enough.

Im sure raising labs as you do is very hard work, as fun
as it may seem to us. But Im certain you have brought much joy into so many peoples lives, more than you can possibly imagine.

Dwile and Rosi:

Holiday greetings! We just wanted to send you some pictures and an update
on Crosby (Indigo) as he celebrates his first birthday this week. We truely
have been blessed with the world's greatest dog. If you remember it was a
big step for us to get a dog. You recommended Crosby to us because of his
personality. He is smart, loyal, loving, playful and fun. He was a perfect
fit for our active family.

I never thought a dog could have so much personality or become such an
important part of our family. Crosby loves to go for walks, swim in the
lake, snuggle in bed and play in the snow. He loves the recent snowfall we
have had here in Colorado. Crosby is a true family dog and is loyal to each
and everyone of us, especially our daughter. She has a unique relationship
with Crosby and he does whatever she tells him to. My daughter stills looks
at your website and is searching for a friend for Crosby. I'm sure that
will happen someday.

We had the opportunity this past summer for Crosby to meet at the lake to
swim with a fellow golden lightning lab that lives here in Colorado Springs.
Her name is Sassy. What a fun
afternoon that was. Thank you for raising such wonderful dogs. We are
truely blessed to have a golden lightning lab.

Happy New Year!

We bought Raegan from you. She was born in March, one of

Diamond Snow and Diamond Rios puppies.

Her new name is Alli Mae and she is almost 10 months old.

Our chocolate lab and Alli Mae have become the best of buddies.

They love to run in our fenced backyard.

Alli is such a sweetie. She gets into everything, but if she takes

something she shouldnt have, she will always drop it when you

tell her to.

She is very active, but not wild and takes time for her naps.

She is a wonderful bed partner and usually you wake up with her

nose in your back. If she gets tired of the bed she goes on the

floor or into her kennel to sleep.

SHE IS THE SWEETEST PUPPY YOU COULD EVER WANT. We all love

her so much.

She cocks her head so cute when you talk to her.

We watch your website each week to see the new arrivals.

We would love to have another puppy but need to wait until Alli is

a little older.

We are sure youll hear from us again when it is time for a new

puppy. Thanks for the wonderful puppy!

ANOTHER HEART WARMING LETTER FROM ONE OF OUR WONDERFUL CLIENTS...

Dear Rosi and Dwile,

We wanted to take the time to say how incredibly happy we are with Zek,(pronounced Zeke or "Ezekiel"/formerly Davidson) the beautiful white lab that we obtained from you in February. (Whitey and Karizma's litter) Aside from being beautiful and the one thing that busy New Yorkers will smile and even stop for, he is also very receptive and smart. I'm sure this is no surprise to you. We admit that the past couple of months have been challenging for us as first time parents, accustomed to only looking after ourselves, but the rewards are awesome! Zek already knows all his basic commands, and will stay in a sitting or down position for (almost) as long as we ask him. Since we brought him for his second set of vaccinations on March 7, we are now beginning to gradually take him out on our street and around the corner and he's already adapting to becoming housebroken. We also are now in the middle of a 6 week "puppy kindergarten" to be sure we are learning the best ways to communicate and work with him -this is also enabling him to be well socialized.

Thank you for Zek. He is a wonderful lab pup and we're sure he will be an even more wonderful lab dog. But also thanks for the great job that you do as professional breeders -including your priority to contact and interview us personally to be sure that we would be suitable parents, and for listening to us and trusting that our being residents of a big city like New York would work out. This made a difference to us and we're happy and relieved that it is working well, that we are able to make progress everyday toward having the happiest healthiest dog possible... Although sometimes we want him to stay a pup, we could hardly wait till he's old enough to take him to Central Park ( 2 blocks away) where he will get to walk and run freely closer to nature and his element.

This is Carol and Thomas Keller from Maryland. We are so long overdue sending pictures of our adorable Angel. There are a few of first trip to the beach last Feb. (8 months old). She loved it!!

As you can see in one of the pictures, she is licking her chops. She loved the taste of the ocean water. There is one of her sitting on our deck beside a little fountain. (just short of her first birthday).

She is the LOVE of our lives. I can't tell you how we are enjoying her. She loves the grandchildren, as they do her. We'll send pictures of all of them together soon. Just wanted you to know how much love and happiness you brought to us with our "ANGEL".

HE IS A BEAUTY! WE ORIGINALLY GOT GUS AS A PET FOR OUR YOUNGEST DAUGHTER, BUT IT WAS OBVIOUS FROM THE BEGINNING HE WAS MORE THAN A FAMILY PET!!

WITH VERY LITTLE WORK, HE IS A NATURAL HUNTER, HE LOVES THE PHEASANT SEASON, AND SHOWS A PERFECT POINT WHEN HE SENSES THOSE BIRDS! GUS REALLY EXCELS DURING GOOSE AND DUCK HUNTING THOUGH, IT IS HARD TO KEEP HIM OUT OF THE WATER!

During the summer months Gus spends his days in the pool or the koi pond, he just loves water! If any thing is in the water and he is told to retrieve, he will, whether its a toy or our little nephew!

We have many customers to our farm and seed business, Gus is always so gentle and calm when ever any one comes to the farm. He loves to meet new people. We have received so many compliments that Gus is such a beautiful and gentle dog.

He is the epitome of a mellow lab.Golden Lightning Labs are everything they claim to be, Nice People and Great Pets!

The Normand kids live in Louisiana with their best "Bud"
BUDDY.

Buddy is 3 months old on these pictures.

The Normand's have reported that they just LOVE his

"MELLOW" demeanor, and his fun loving spirit.

Buddy loves to retrieve from the pond and will soon start

his formal professional hunt training.

Thank you Normand's for giving Buddy such a

wonderful home and loving family.

"Leaping Lilly" and her pal Gracie the Golden Retriever.

Dan and Courtney have this to say about Lilly:

Hi Rosi,

I just wanted to give you an update on Gracie (which is what we named her here at Golden Lightning Labs while she was in the litter and of course with Dan and Courtney already owning a Golden Retriever named Gracie, they decided to name her Lilly), now known as Majestic Leaping Lilly. As you can tell from the picture Lilly has grown quite a bit.

She loves wrestling with our older golden retriever Gracie, running in the field in front of our home and eating. She is one of the most intelligent dogs I have ever met. She has a personality that offers a little something for everyone. She is well rounded and quite loveable.

Her most loveable trait is to wake us up in the mornings with kisses.

She is as mischievous as she is loveable. With her intelligence and ability to be mischievous, she keeps us on our toes as she is definitely the ruler of the home.

She has also helped rejuvenate our older dog. The two play constantly and compete for our affection. (And anything edible)

She has definitely fulfilled our every expectation. She is absolutely beautiful.

I want to thank you for creating such a loveable creature.

Hello,

It's James and Alicia Mrdutt . We just wanted to drop you a line on how Amber is doing.

Well it is that time of the year again. The yearly dog show was today and we entered

Amber in Most Obedient. Amber was judged while running through all her obedience

skills; including sit, stay and retrieving a mallard trainer and returning the trainer with

proper release. After waiting for all the other dogs to be judged, we received the final

results...for most Obedient...she took First Place...second year in a row. Last year she

won at 4 months old, and this year she was 1year and 4 months old when she won.

Thank you Golden Lightning Labs for breeding the smartest dog I have every had

the pleasure of owning.
